N.S. – private info vulnerable: auditor general

imageN.S., CANADA — Nova Scotia’s auditor general, Jacques Lapointe, says the security software protecting the private information collected by the provincial government is lax and open to manipulation by hackers.

“The danger is of someone getting into these systems,” he said. “They can change the information. They can corrupt it. They can simply disclose it.”
