slide_349495_3739937_freeOTTAWA — A server that hosts several Internet sites — including the one belonging to the Bloc Québécois — has been the target of a cyberattack.

A person or group by the name of the United Islamic Cyber Force claims to be behind today’s attack.

The name is sprawled in red letters across the top of a black page.

A check of other social media sites indicated the United Islamic Cyber Force’s Twitter account has been suspended.

The United Islamic Cyber Force also claims online it was behind a number of other website attacks in past.
